Direct answer
Current secondary references describe Latent Orbs as items that are infused during a run and later redeemed at the Wishing Table for a defined reward.
Requirements vary by orb, so this page uses the Island of the Damned only as a dated example rather than a universal recipe.
Evidence boundary: The common loop and the regional example come from current secondary references; no first-party all-region explanation was available in the approved source set.
The common loop
- Obtain a regional Latent Orb through that orb's own requirement.
- Complete the orb's infusion or charge condition during the run.
- Return to the Wishing Table and unseal the completed orb for its linked reward.
Island of the Damned example
The regional page last edited July 11, 2026 records an orb obtained from a Divine Chest, unlocked with 30 Divine Essence and charged with 25 kills before it is unsealed at the Wishing Table.
That same snapshot says the orb is lost on death or when the run ends before it is charged, so finish the recorded charge loop before leaving.
These numbers and the failure state belong only to this dated Island of the Damned example. Do not reuse them for another region without checking that orb separately.
